Brett Baxter was born and raised in the Shenango Valley, and has been serving the electrical industry since 2016.

Achieving a Bachelors in Business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2005, and hungry for a change of scenery and opportunity, Brett moved to Arizona right out of college. Ending up in Phoenix, he began working as a Financial Consultant, assisting school districts nationwide with their Special Education and Medicaid programs. In 2012, Brett accepted a new position to help further his career, which brought him back to the East Coast. He worked in New York City for a little over two years as Director of Finance and Operations.

As much as he enjoyed working in the Big Apple, Brett felt he needed a change. He continued his work remotely for a couple more years while living in Pittsburgh, before making his way back to his hometown of Sharon, PA in 2016, where he made a career change after 10 years. Hired into the local electrical industry in 2016, Brett used all of those skills and dove right into Purchasing, Vendor / Inventory Management and company operations. Recognizing how good he was and what he could bring to the table, JCL brought Brett on in August 2021.

When he’s not helping JCL Energy, and its customers, with all of their needs, you can find Brett either traveling, enjoying the outdoors or cheering on his favorite teams as he is a huge sports fan.
